Well, this isn't all I've done since July, but this is a sample of some of it. I did a lot of doilies and snowflakes and things that can be hung on a tree. I did a bunch of earrings, as the green one here, so I thought maybe I could shrink some of the other things small enough to use as earrings. The 2 shuttle angel is done in the size 80, but still looks too large to wear. The cards I did were done with tatting, stencils, stickers and rubber stamping. I don't think I've ever seen a 'pattern' for grass, but it works up quite nicely. Of all of these items, the grass is the only one I can say I 'designed', although it isn't much of a design, just start with shuttle tied to the ball thread, (it there is no knot, all of the grass will slide off) and p, p, p, p.......of varying sizes, then when you have enough, slide them to take a bit more room on the shuttle thread, to sort of straighten it out so it doesn't curl so badly. Then you cut each picot and there you have it: grass. I tried a green embroidery thread, but I like the crochet cotton, size 10 better. I really like this sea horse by Debbie Arnold. I also like the Be-Stitched Candle. That makes up in a nice size for hanging on a tree. I'll have to make more to post.
Gosh, to look at my sampling, you'd think I hadn't done much at all! I did a lot of things I've done before. Life has been hectic since approximately the end of June! My friends found me a great place. It is a double-wide trailer, all one level, a laundry behind what looks like a closet door in the kitchen, a large living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, one in the master bedroom and that one has a shower and tub as separate items! I love it here. My ex married his new girlfriend. Life is good! HaHaHaHa!
